Marie Goins Britt, 77, of Samarcand Rd., Eagle Springs, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Community Baptist Church, with Rev. Otis Goins and Rev. Bryan Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Moore County, on August 19, 1937, she was the daughter of Samuel and Lou Reynolds Goins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul on April 26, 2007; two brothers, Grover and Junior Goins. She was a home maker. She is survived by a son, Ricky Britt and wife Fonda of Eagle Springs; 4 daughters, Wanda Stuart and husband Edd of Mt. Gilead, Paula Ransom and husband Leon of Jackson Springs, Rhonda Davis of Star and Christine Britt of Aberdeen; 3 brothers, Bob Goins of Denton, Gary Goins and Larry Goins, both of Rockingham; sister, Delphia Rouse of Candor; 4 Grandchildren; 4 Great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
