Mrs. Margie Floyd Misenheimer, age 92 of Cap Ingram Road, Lexington, NC died Wednesday, December 8 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 12 at Floyd Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Derald Smith. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6;00 until 8:00 PM Saturday, December 11 at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mrs. Misenheimer was born May 6, 1929 in Davidson County to Alson Floyd and Maggie Hedrick Floyd. She was a member of Floyd Baptist Church where she served as the pianist for 70 years. She had been employed as a seamstress in the clothing industry last worked at Edgewood Apparels. She was married to John A Misenheimer who proceeded her in death. She was also proceeded in death by her parents, by brothers, Dolan Floyd and Alva Floyd and sisters Dallie Davis and Dallas Floyd. She is survived by sons, John Michael (Mike) Misenheimer of Lexington and Dr. Timothy J Misenheimer and wife Lesia of Asheboro; Grandchildren Ashley O’Kelley and husband Nicholas of Charlotte and Adam Misenheimer and wife Ticka of Asheboro; 2 great grandchildren; nieces, Janie Davis and Jean Bates both of Greensboro and Janice Patella of Mocksville; nephew Randy Davis of Lexington. \ Memorials may be made to Floyd Baptist Church, 2145 Floyd Church Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
