Mrs. Margaret Pinyan Williams, age 92, a 19 year resident of Mountain Vista Health Park, formerly of Farmer Road, Denton died Wednesday, June 15 at the nursing home. Funeral service for Mrs. Williams will be 2:00 pm Sunday, June 19 at Gravel Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Hosler, Rev. Gerald Ward and Rev. James Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mrs. Williams was born January 29, 1919 in Davidson County to William Franklin and Bertha Eller Pinyan. She was a Sunday school teacher and active member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church until her health no longer permitted. She was former owner/operator of the Park-In Grill and the Denton Grill and had worked at Klopman Mill. She was married to Flaud Alexander Williams who died Oct. 9, 1979. Mrs. Williams is survived by one son, Gerald Williams and wife Anne Owen Williams of Lexington, one daughter, Joyce Snider and husband Jack of Denton, one sister, Edna Kyles of Lexington, three grandchildren, Renee Nelson of Denton, LeAnne Richburg and husband Gary of Dallas, Texas and Brenda Allred and husband Wayne of Randleman, five great-grandchildren, Landace Gillizter, Adam Richburg, Chelsie Hulin, Jackson Allred and Josie Allred and three great-great grandchildren, Logan Mullins, Brandon Gillizter and Emma Gillizter.
