Margaret Allred Parsons

Margaret Allred Parsons, 93, former resident of Autumn Care in Biscoe, died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospice House.  Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Macedonia Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with Rev. Matthew Baker officiating.   Born in Montgomery County on June 27, 1924, she was the daughter of Charlie Walter and Annie Belle Hicks Allred.  She was a homemaker, a member of Macedonia Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, and was a past volunteer with the Red Cross.  Margaret was a person that loved living a simple life and loved animals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Parson is 1976.   She is survived by her son, Ronald Herbert Parsons of the home.   The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macedonia Presbyterian Church, PO Box 340, Candor NC  27229.
