Margaret Mcdonald

Miss Margaret Elizabeth McDonald, age 96 of Friends Homes of Guilford died Sunday, November 7. She was a longtime resident of Greensboro and formerly of Candor, NC. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November, 9 at Candor Town Cemetery. Miss McDonald was born April 15, 1914 in Montgomery County to John Allen McDonald and Annie Parsons McDonald. She graduated from Candor High School and attended McClungs Business College. She was employed by Guilford Mortgage Company/Allen Realty Company as manager of the Insurance Department for 36 years. She is survived by nieces Linda Burkhead of Candor and Mary Aileen Willis of Troy; nephews, Jerry Burkhead of Candor, James MacDonald and John MacDonald both of Wilmington. Briggs Funeral Home in Candor is in Charge of arrangements.
