Marcus Tollison

Mr. Marcus Warren Tollison, age 29 of Jackson Creek Road, Denton, NC died Friday, January 20 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 26 at Mt Gilead United Methodist Church, 4736 Mt. Gilead Church Road, Sophia, NC 27350 conducted by Rev. Charles Moses. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times will be at the residence of the parents. Mr. Tollison was born July 14, 1987 in Davidson County to Dickie Tollison and Robin Welborn Tollison. He had been employed as a Lineman with Utility Line Construction Company until being injured in a work related accident. He is survived by his parents Dickie and Robin Tollison of Denton; and a brother Brian Tollison and wife Linzy of Denton.
