Malinda Warden Hogan

Malinda Warden Hogan, 76, of Candor, died Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Jarman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Candor Cemetery.

Born in Virginia on March 23, 1947, she was the daughter of Frank J. and Pansy Clemens Warden.  Malinda was an assistant teacher and bus driver with the Montgomery County School System for over 23 years.  She was a member of Candor Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hogan is survived by her husband, Larry Wayne Hogan of the home; step children, Audrey Burroughs of Candor, Brenda Lopez of Highlands NC, Michael Wayne Hogan of Asheboro; step children from her first marriage with Robert Tysinger, Jackie Tysinger of Candor and Karen Tysinger and Dale Tysinger, both of Star; brother, Roger Warden of Thomasville; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor.
