Maggie Bowman

Mrs. Verna Magdalene “Maggie” Hogan Bowman age 81, formerly of Varner St. Denton died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Thomasville Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, March 24 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. James Cooper. Mrs. Bowman was born April 29, 1932 in Montgomery County to George Washington Hogan and Sarah Margie Johnson Hogan. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband; Woodrow Bowman and then by her second husband Otto Gallimore. Maggie is survived by brothers; George William Hogan and Calvin Timothy Hogan both of Denton. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
