Lynn Kellis Thompson

Karen Lynn Kellis Thompson, 60, formerly of Lemonds Drywall Rd., Troy, died Friday, December 27, 2013 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 30, 2013 at Candor Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Steve Jarman. Interment will follow in West End Cemetery, West End, NC. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at Candor Baptist Church. Lynn was born July 27, 1953, in Moore County, the daughter of Glenn Wade Kellis and Evie Leona Williams Kellis. She was a graduate of East Montgomery High School. She was a devoted and loving mother and worked for over 30 years dutifully at Claysons Knitting. Lynn was Preceded in death by her father; Glenn Kellis and brother; Eddie Kellis. She is survived by 2 sons, Jonathan Thompson of Candor and Jordan Thompson of Candor; her mother, Leona Kellis of Candor; 2 sisters, Janet Barnes of Candor and Amy Bruewer of Cincinnati, OH.
