Lynn Weaver Garner

Mrs. Mary Lynn Weaver Garner, age 61 of Summerville Church Road, Denton, NC died Monday, May 4 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A private Graveside Service will be held Friday at Summerville Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Flynn Richardson. A public Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Garner was born December 23, 1958 in Davidson County to Arvel Columbus Weaver and Juanita Daniel Weaver. She was a graduate of Denton High School and Pfeiffer College. She was an active member of Summerville Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday School Director and a member of the WMU. She was employed as the Director of Family Care with the Baptist Children’s Home of North Carolina where she had worked for 33 years.

She is survived by her husband Zane Garner of the home; daughters, Hannah G Cantu (David) of Asheboro and Haley G. O’Neal (Carter) of Denton; grandchild, Noah Cantu.
