Luisa Zepeta Alvarado, 67, of Hoover Lane, Biscoe, died Saturday, December 5, 2020 at her residence. Graveside Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Biscoe Cemetery, with Father Ricardo Sanchez officiating. Masks are required and it is asked that you observe social distancing. Born in Vera Cruz, Mexico on December 18, 1952, she was the daughter of Luis Zepeta Juarez and Guillermo Mina Alvarado Guzman. She was a member of Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church and was a seamstress with Klaussner Industries. She is survived by her husband, Gumercindo Ramirez of the home; 5 sons, Antonio Islas Zepeta, Celso Islas Zepeta, both of Biscoe, Santos Islas Zepeta and Leoncio Islas Zepeta, both of Candor, and Gumercindo Islas Zepeta Jr. of Mexico; 3 daughters, Humberta Islas Zepeta and Maribel Islas Zepeta, both of Biscoe and Yaralet Islas Zepeta of Star; 8 brothers and sisters; 29 Grandchildren; 10 Great-grandchildren. Mrs. Zepeta Alvarado will lie in state for viewing on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home. Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, masks are required in the funeral home.
