Mrs. Lucille Johnson Vestal, age 91 formerly of Hoover Hill Road, Trinity, NC died Tuesday, November 24 at Woodland Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 27 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Denton conducted by Rev. Joe Johnson. Burial will follow at Brower’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Asheboro. The family will see friends from 12:30 until 1:30 PM Friday at the Funeral Home Mrs. Vestal was born August 24, 1924 in Randolph County to John R. Johnson and Minnie Shaw Johnson. She was a retired employee of Walker Shoe Store. She was married to John Russell Vestal who died March 6, 1971. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jesse L Johnson and Dwayne Johnson and by a sister Clara Johnson Johnson. She is survived by a sister Pat J Arnold and husband Johnny of Trinity; brothers, John R Johnson of Trinity, Billy W Johnson of Asheboro and Rev. Joe Johnson and wife Ann of Rockwell
