Louise Harris

Louise Hunsucker Harris age 91, formerly of Whiskey Rd. Candor died at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 15 at the Candor Cemetery conducted by Rev. Anne Beach. Mrs. Harris was born July 11, 1921 in Montgomery County to Calvin E. Hunsucker and Metta Zoe Cagle Hunsucker. She was a graduate of Candor High School and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband John Daniel “J.D.” Harris, Sr. Survivors include, sons; John Harris, Jr. and wife Faye of Candor and Rick Harris and wife Ivy of Troy, grandchildren; Megan Harris Thompson and husband Brandon, Drew Harris, Laura Harris Hannaford and husband Brett, and Daniel Harris and wife Brandi, great grandchildren; Kaylee and Allie Thompson, Leah and Lylah Hannaford, Braxton Barnum, and Noah Harris. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the graveside service and other times at 454 Currie Rd. In lieu of flowers the family ask memorials be made to Candor Presbyterian Church PO Box 635, Candor, NC 27229. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is assisting the Harris Family.
