Ms. Annie Louise Jenkins Epperson, 95, formerly of Jay Place, High Point, NC passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Curis Thomasville Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville, NC.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 4 , 2019 at West End Cemetery, West End, NC.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from noon until 1:30 pm at Briggs Candor Funeral Home in Candor.
Ms. Epperson was born in Montgomery County on April 26, 1923 to Chalimus Jenkins and Leacy Bowles Jenkins. She had worked as a sander for Stanley Furniture for many years and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Epperson in 2005; daughter, Sandra Alston in 2018 and by all 9 of her siblings.
She is survived by sons, Glenn Epperson and wife Shirley of Pilot Mountain, Roy Epperson and wife Orchid Le of High Point, and Mickey Epperson and wife Rita of Wallburg; daughters, Leacy Saunders of Trinity and Betty Owens and husband Norman of Winston Salem; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
