Lottie Deaton

Lottie Nooe Deaton, age 89 of Mountain Vista Health Park, Denton formerly of Spencer Meadow Rd. in Asheboro died Monday, July 9 at the nursing home. Funeral service for Mrs. Deaton is scheduled for 3:00 pm Friday, July 13 at Denton Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ray Swaney, Rev. Charlie Collins and Rev. Bill Foust officiating. Burial will be in the Denton Town Cemetery. Mrs. Deaton was born September 4, 1917 in Davidson County to Walter and Roberta Callicutt Nooe. She was a member of High Rock Baptist Church. She was retired from Rampons, Inc. of Asheboro. Mrs. Deaton was preceded in death by her husband Ira Deaton in 2004. Survivors include daughters, Glenda Barker and husband Wade of Lake Tillery, Darcus Bisher and husband Max and Myra Smith and husband Danny, all of Denton and Beverly Hoover and husband Edgar of Asheboro; brothers, Bennett Nooe, Howard Nooe and Walter Nooe of Troy, Donnie Nooe of Texas and John Nooe of Asheboro; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of Darcus Bisher on Nance Rd.
