Lorraine Kinney Snyder

Sarah Lorraine Kinney Snyder, 84, of Bringle Ferry Rd., Denton, NC passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 8, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Denton Town Cemetery.

Lorraine was born January 10, 1938, in Guilford County to Cleatus Talton Kinney and Sallie Poole Kinney. She was a member of First Baptist Church and retired from Mannington Ceramics. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Graham Truitt Snyder and a baby sister.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Graham Snyder and wife Tina of Denton; 1 grandson, Cody Snyder; 2 great-grandchildren, Keira Snyder and Graylann Snyder; brother and sister-in-law, Monroe and Ann Snyder; 3 nieces and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence.
