Lonnie A. Owens DENTON — Lonnie A. Owens, 43, of Yates Road, died Thursday, May 4, 2006, at High Point Regional Hospital. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. James Lunsford officiating. He was a native of Randolph County and a machine operator at Southern Veneer. Surviving are wife, Beverly Hughes Owens of the home; sons, Jamie Alton Owens of the home, Jesse James Charette of Thomasville; daughter, Jennifer Renee Owens of the home; mother, Nora Beeson of Thomasville; brother, Frankie Owens of Denton; sisters, Linda Rogers of Thomasville, Janet Hughes, Brenda Huffman and Sylvia Owens, all of Denton, Betty Gore of Thomasville. Briggs Funeral Home, Denton, is in charge of arrangements.
