Lois Hagerty Willoughby

Lois Francis Hagerty Willoughby, 72, of Templeton Rd., New London, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast in Concord. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Born on May 22, 1939 in Washington, PA, she was the daughter of Frank and Sylvia Prigg Hagerty. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Willoughby in 2005, a daughter, Jeanne Willoughby in 2006, a sister, Betty Calvert, a nd a brother, Frank Hagerty. She is survived by a daughter, Jody Wooten and husband Bert of Badin Lake; a son, Mark Willoughby and wife Susie of Clermont, FL; a sister, Susan Caro of Chappaqua, NY; a brother in law, Dale Calvert of Washington, PA; 2 Grandchildren, Beth Willoughby and Trevor Willoughby; 1 Great-grandchild, Andrew Martinez. Briggs Funeral Home in Denton is in charge of arrangements.
