Lois Lee Williamson

Lois Lee Williamson, 67, of North Mineral Spring Rd., Durham, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 at Duke University Hospital. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the old sanctuary of Macedonia Presbyterian Church, with Rev. David Speering officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born April 13, 1943 in Montgomery County, the daughter of Connor and Virginia McCallum Williamson, she was a registered nurse. She is survived by 2 sons, Nathan Williamson of Cary and Arnold Pitts of White Lake; a brother, Michael Cox of Wilmington and a sister, Belinda Keith, also of Wilmington; 5 Grandchildren, David William Pitts, Robin Marie Chen, William Lee Pitts, Helen Ashley Pitts and Marcus Aaron Pitts; 12 Great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:00 PM prior to the service on Sunday at Macedonia Presbyterian Church. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home of Candor is in charge of arrangements.
