Liz Pope

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth “Liz” Workman Pope, age 50, of Seely Drive, Denton, NC died on Monday, December 4, 2023 at her residence.

Services will be private.

Liz was born on June 2, 1973 in Davidson County to Arlie Workman, Jr. and Lorada Gray Workman. She worked at Choice Health Management Services as a bookkeeper.  Liz was a member of Siloam Church.

She was her parents precious child. She was a loving, unselfish, kind, devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She loved her husband and children with all her heart. She was a bright light in this world and she will be missed greatly by many.

Liz is survived by her husband, Jon Robert Pope of the home; a daughter, Sarah Pope of the home; a son, Dillon Pope of Denton; her parents, Arlie and Lorada Workman of Denton; a sister, Alivia McLaughlin of Lexington; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Robert and Patricia Hill Pope; sisters-in-law, Monica Pope Harrell of Lexington and Jodie Pope McGee of Denton; nieces, Anna McLaughlin, Gracie Flake and Josie Flake; nephews, Joseph McLaughlin and Kirby Flake.

In lieu of flowers or a tree please donate for a stain glass window in memory of Liz to Siloam Church, P.O. Box 414, Denton NC 27239.
