Lindbergh Stuart

December 10, 1927 — February 11, 2012

Richard Lindbergh Stuart, age 84 formerly of HWY 731 West, Mt. Gilead died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at Autumn Care in Biscoe. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Little River United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Pat Sykes. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Mr. Stuart was born December 10, 1927 in Montgomery County to R. H. Stuart and Mary Jane Johnson Stuart. He was a self-employed painter having designed the Montgomery County Seal and he was a member of Little River United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Josephine Stuart and by his half-brother William Thomas. Survivors include; sons; Edd Stuart of Pekin, Steve Stuart of Rose Hill, and Billy Stuart of Pekin, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
