Linda Smith

Mrs. Linda Marie Richardson Smith, age 74 of Farmer Denton Road, Denton, NC died Sunday, August 6 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August, 9 at Fayetteville Street Baptist Church, 910 N Fayetteville St., Asheboro conducted by Rev. Randy Browder and Rev. Dr. Bruce Dickerson. Burial will follow at Farmer United Methodist Church Cemetery in Farmer. The family will see friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Wednesday prior to the service at Fayetteville Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith was born January 25, 1943 in Randolph County to Penn L. Richardson and Laura Jean Trogdon Richardson. She was a member of Fayetteville Street Baptist Church and had worked as a Nurse at Randolph Hospital and several other Medical Facilities. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Raymond Richardson. She is survived by her Husband Roy A Smith of the home; a son Kevin J Smith of Plaistow, NH; a daughter, Sharon R. Smith of Asheboro; grandchildren, Emma, Nora Hannah and Tierra Smith, and Christionna McDonald; brother Richardson and wife Judy of Randleman; sisters Lois Jean Hinshaw and husband Paul; Pennie Davidson and husband Bill, Karen Wooten and husband Roger all of Asheboro, Sandra Adams and husband Van of Randleman.
