Linda Blake Schoenberger

Linda Faye Blake Schoenberger, 69, of Samarcand Manor Rd., Eagle Springs, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. A Memorial Mass will be 11 AM Thursday at Our Lady of the Americas Roman Catholic Church, with Father Ricardo Sanchez officiating. Born on August 13, 1946 in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of Lonnie Calvin and Lula Thompson Blake. Linda was a sweet, kind woman, who always thought of others before herself. She loved to use her embroidery machines to make towels for her loved ones. She also loved to bake pies, cakes, and cookies for family and friends. After she retired from Twin Pine, she loved riding her Harley Sportster and became enthralled with her tattoos. She was the greatest wife, mama, and memaw ever. She is survived by her husband, George Schoenberger of the home; 2 daughters, Georgia Schoenberger Taylor of Mocksville and Carla Schoenberger Adkins of Fayetteville; a brother, Jerrell Blake of Midland, NC; 2 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church, 298 Farmers Market Rd., Biscoe NC 27209.
