Linda Penner

Mrs. Jo Windle (Linda) Penner, age 75 of Wonderwood Circle, Greensboro, NC died Thursday, August 24 at Wesley Long Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday, August 27 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Denton. Burial will be at a later date in Texas. The family will see friends from 4:00 until 5:00 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home. Mrs. Penner was born April 19, 1942 in Dallas County, Texas. She was a homemaker and only lived in North Carolina a short time. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Atchley and John Penner; by a son Randy Lee Alton Stice and a brother Bill Alshie. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Hayes of Greensboro and formerly of Denton; sons, Scottie Stice of Waxahachie, Texas and Marty Stice of Hobbs, NM and a brother Lary Ailshie of Texas; 7 grandchildren.
