Linda Smith Link, 54, of Shiptontown Rd., Denton, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at High Point Regional Hospital. Private Funeral Services will be held following the visitation on Friday and conducted by Rev. Vern Peterson. Born on May 5, 1956 in Beaufort, she was the daughter of Earl and Myrtle Smith. She was a retired teller in the banking industry. She is survived by her husband, Larry (Bill) Link of the home, a son, Michael Gurkin and wife Angela of Lexington; a stepson, Billy Link and wife Liz of Clemmons; 3 Grandchildren, Austin, Gracie and Kylee. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM on Friday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
