Mrs. Linda Cranford Craven age 76 of Ralph Lawrence Road, Seagrove, NC died Thursday May 17 at Randolph Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 20 at Liberty Fellowship Church conducted by Rev. Jamie Draughn. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will see friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times will be at the residence of Waynette Araj, Trollinger Road, Asheboro, NC
Mrs .Craven was born August 21, 1941 in Randolph County to Ratio Cranford and Eva Hopkins Cranford. She was a member of Liberty Fellowship Church and a retired employee of Black and Decker in Asheboro. Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister and Nana. She was always generous and often went without herself to make sure others had what they needed. She even saved the life of her granddaughter Amanda, by giving her one of her kidneys. She was preceded in death by her parents and by brothers, Clyde, Wade, Herman, Dale and Billy.
She is survived by her husband Darrell C. Craven of the home; daughters, Waynette Hoover Araj and husband Saba and Luann Hoover Cagle and husband Luther all of Asheboro; step-daughters, Deanna Freeman of Seagrove and Dreama Craven of Randleman; brother Roy Cranford of Denton; sister Helen Andrews of Asheboro; grandchildren, Ben Harless, Emily Allred, Amanda Bulla, Lindsay Bulla, Hannah Mellon and Katie Mellon; step-grandchildren, Daniel Massey, Sebastion Ocampo, Alex Ocampo, Caden Kinney and Corabelle Kinney; great grandchildren, Connor and Addy Mae.

The family will miss her laugh, her hugs, her scoldings, and her chocolate pie. We love you Nana and we’ll be seeing you soon.
