Linda Welch Christian

Linda Pearl Welch Christian, 80, of Asheboro, NC passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Randolph Hospital.

Mrs. Christian was born on December 17, 1942, in Cullman County, Alabama the daughter of Calvin Roy Welch and Mamie Christine Bogle Welch. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked in upholstery of car seats with Fisher Body a division of General Motors. In addition to her parents Linda was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Welch.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jackie Rogers Christian of the home; son, Jack Roy Christian of Munith, MI; daughters, Joy Ann Christian Harrell of Hartley, DE and Jill Diane Christian of New London, NC’ sisters, Margaret Strickland, and Mary Sue Self both of TN; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
