Linda "Jelly" Cagle

Ms. Linda “Jelly” Carol Harris Cagle, age 72, of Lighthouse Church Rd., Candor, NC passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 24 at the East Montgomery High School Auditorium with Rev. C.L. Wall presiding. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Candor Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Ms. Cagle was born June 8, 1947 in Montgomery County to Arney Dewey Harris and Ida Collins Harris. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and had been employed with Samrakand Manor. In addition to her parents Linda was also preceded in death by her children, Tammy Charlene Cagle and Kenneth Brian Cagle; a brother, Dewey Harris.

She is survived by 3 grandchildren, Kendric Cuthrell of Asheboro, Jasmine Ingram of Candor, and Keandra Cagle of Rockingham; 3 great-grandchildren, Asiah Cuthrell, Zoey Gould, and Kendric Cuthrell, Jr.; brothers, Burney Harris of Greensboro and Dixie Harris of Candor; sisters, Doris Davis of Robbins, Louise Coleman of Biscoe, Regina Wall of Candor, Inez Green of Biscoe, and Minister Margie Wall of Greensboro; aunts, Dora Wall, Annie Ruth Collins, Barbara Steater, Carolyn Collins, Patricia Collins, Linda Collins, and Beulah Barrett; uncle, Atlas Collins.
