Lillian King Hoover

Jackson Springs-Mrs. Lillian King Hoover, 86, formerly of Bethel Church Rd., Jackson Springs, died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living. A graveside service will be 4 PM Friday at Marcus United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Revs. Barbara and Myron Dice officiating. Born March 13, 1924 in Pilot Mountain, she was the daughter of Grant and Sarah Jane Puckett King. She was a member of Marcus UMC and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colon Hoover and a son, John Daniel Hoover. She is survived by her son, Alvin Hoover of Eagle Springs; 2 sisters, Willie Jane Lowery of Jackson Springs and Jeanette Needham of Robbins; 4 Grandchildren; 5 Great-grandchildren . The family will receive friends from 3 to 3:30 PM prior to the service Friday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor.
