Libby Byerly Bailey

Libby Byerly Bailey, 73, of S. Snider St., Denton passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 17, at Summerville Baptist Church with Rev. Flynn Richardson and Rev. Trevor Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Libby was born April 21, 1949, in Davidson County to Roy Howard Byerly and Johnsie Floyd Byerly. She graduated from Denton High School in the Class of 1968. Libby was a member of Summerville Baptist Church and had worked in the hosiery industry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Dale Byerly.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristie B. Foster and husband Trevor of Denton; grandson, Joel Foster and wife Jordan; great-grandchild, Ronin Foster.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
