Lester Hulin, Sr.

Mr. Lester Boyd Hulin, Sr. age 62 of Richey Rd. Denton passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at Randolph Hospital. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Dale Hulin, Rev. Donald Lowe, and Rev. Eddie Hill. Lester was born May 2, 1954 in Davidson County to Joseph “Jay” Hulin and Betty Embler Hulin. He had worked as a truck driver. Lester was the assistant pastor of New Beginnings True Gospel Church in Denton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty E. Hulin on March 10, 2016. Surviving are wife, Debora Adams Hulin of the home; sons, Boyd Hulin, Jr. (Jennifer) of Denton and Dale Hulin (Kari) of Denton; father, Jay Hulin of Denton; brother, Roy “RC” Hulin of Lexington; 4 grandchildren Zach, Halie, Jenni, and Jake Hulin.
