Mr. Leslie Gilbert “Gil” Duggins, Sr. age 63, of Lanning Dr., Denton passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at his residence after a sudden illness. Mr. Duggins was born September 3, 1952 in Rockingham County to Thomas Henry Duggins, Sr. and Clio Bullins Duggins. “Gil” had worked as a carpenter. In addition to his parents “Gil” was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Henry Duggins, Jr. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Mary Tina Hall Duggins of the home; son, Leslie Gilbert Duggins, Jr. (Joey); daughters, Tammy Carol Duggins, Stephanie Queen (Michael), and Angela Keply; brothers, Donald Wayne Duggins, Sr., Wade Alton “Butch” Duggins, and Tommy Joe Duggins; sisters, Clio Delane Duggins and Shelia May Sparks; 9 grandchildren, Tori, Steven, and Bryce Duggins, Jacob Woods, Katelyn Amos, Travis Ruddock, Harley and Dillon Keply, and Kayla Harris; 1 great grandchild.
