Lenore "Lori" Fischler

Lori Fischler, 83, of Seven Lakes West, passed away peacefully at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, on February 4, 2020. Lori is survived by her sister and brother in law, Phyllis and Gerhard Hergenhahn of Seven Lakes West. Lori lived most of her life in New York City, where she achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and a Masters in Philosophy at the City University of New York. Her life passion and talents were always in photography and in creative arts. She moved to Moore County in 2007, and actively participated in the Sandhills Photography Club, the Artists League of the Sandhills, and The Campbell House. There  she exhibited many of her photographs and paintings. Her Pinehurst book club was a monthly highlight. Lori also loved making jewelry, and attended many local craft fairs. Lori was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, and she embraced their caring community. A memorial service for Lori will be held on Saturday, March 7, at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalene, 1145 Seven Lakes Drive, in Seven Lakes, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers – which Lori loved – memorial donations in her name may be made to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
