Leland Earl Dart

Leland Earl Dart, 64, of Lovin Hill Rd., Candor, died Monday, January 24, 2011 at his residence. Funeral Services will be private. Born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 22, 1946, he was the son of Leland A. and Nina M. Hayes Dart. He was a Purple Heart Recipient, serving in the Marine Corps in the Vietnam War, and a member of the VFW. He was an entrepreneur, being a dog breeder, an auto salesman and he also customized and sold motorcycles. He is survived by his life partner, Brenda Nunn Quate of the home, a sister, Dorothy Ann Dart of Biscoe and a brother, James Allen Dart and wife Heather of Brooksville, Florida. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home of Candor is in charge of arrangements.
