Lee Loflin

Mr. Lee Loflin, 98, of Mountain Vista Health Park and formerly of Ebel Church Rd. died Thursday, June 7, 2007 at the Health Park. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 10, 1007 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Loflin was born September 1, 1908 in Randolph County to William Lindsay Loflin and Cumi Cameron Loflin. He was a lifetime member of Canaan UMC. He was a farmer. Survivors include, wife Hazel Bryant Loflin of the home; daughter Betty Surratt and Husband Spencer "Cotton" of Denton; Granddaughter Gay McClure of Lexington; Great Granddaughters Jennifer Hilton and Michelle Swisher; Great Great Grandson Tevan Hilton. The family will see friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton other times at the residence on Ebel Church Rd.
