Lawrence Lemons III DENTON — W. Lawrence Lemons III, 34, of Grandview Drive, Badin Shores, New London, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Lanes Chapel Church, New London, with the Rev. Derald Smith officiating. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Dan View Cemetery, Eden. He was a native of Danville, Va., a member of Chandlers Grove United Methodist Church and a self-employed contractor. Surviving are wife, Linda Hughes Lemons of the home; daughter, Ashley Yow of Eden; mother, Cynthia J. Privette of Stoneville; grandmothers, Mabel Lemons of Eden, Deloris Thomas of Stoneville. The family will be at Briggs Funeral Home, Denton, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Chandlers Grove UMC Building Fund.
