Lassie Pauline Bailey Satsky 81, of Railroad St. Denton died Friday March 3, 2006 at Britthaven of Davidson in Thomasville. Memorial Service will be Thursday March 9, 2006 at 2:00 PM in the Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel Conducted by Rev. David Hunt. Mrs. Satsky was born July 24, 1924 in Yancey County to Molt and Mamie Johnson Bailey. She was a Homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by husband Victor John "v.J." Satsky. Survivors include her son, Maynard Satsky of Japan, Daughter, Nancy Moreno of Austin, Tx., Brother Luther Bailey of Asheville, Sisters Verda Lewis and Trula Bowman of Denton and Violet Jones of Marion, OH. 2 Grandchildren and `1 Great Grandchild. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Other times at the home of a sister Trula Jones on East Second St. in Denton.
