Larry B Link

Mr. Larry Baxter Link, age 69 of Shiptontown Road, Denton, NC died Wednesday, April, 25 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Briggs Funeal Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Freddie Moretz presiding. Interment with military honors will follow at VA National Cemetery in Salisbury.

Mr. Link was born in Forsyth County on September 14, 1948 to William B. Link and Thelma Marie Link. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had worked as a forklift operator until a decline in health. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Smith Link and sister, Sandra Sizemore.

He is survived by sons, Billy Link and wife Liz of Clemmons and David Ray and wife Denise of Texas; ; step-son, Michael Gurkin and wife Angela of Lexington; daughters, Jeanette Monday and husband Terry of Lexington and Kim Combs of Winston Salem; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Kathy Prevette, Patty Hendron, Dianne Priddy, and Wanda Butner.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to the service.
