Kirby Dale Williams, 68, of Gaddy Circle, Thomasville passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at his residence. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, January 26, at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Mr. Larry Watts officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Kirby was born May 11, 1954, in Lawrence County, Kentucky to Cartmell Williams and Hattie Hensley Williams. He was a veteran of the United States Army and of the Baptist faith. He had been employed in the furniture industry and with CNO Railroad. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, George Williams and a sister, Sandy Daniels. He is survived by his wife, Julia Gibson Williams of the home, son, Jesse Martin (Cristen) of Denton, daughters, Melissa Martin of Lexington, Rebecca Jackson of Ashland, KY, and Starlena Napier (J.C.) of WV; sisters, Bonnie Williams and Carolyn Salyers (Bondie) all of KY, and Judy Jarrel (Paul) of OH; 13 grandchildren, Morgan, Madison, Kaylee, Jake, Caleb, Kelsie, Makenzie, Jesse, Jr., Hunter, Anthony, JR., Tyrese, Maurice, and Natalia.
