Kevin Colson

Kevin Scott Colson, 31, of Regan Rd., Lexington died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Thomasville Medical Center. Mr. Colson was born December 2, 1976 in Davidson County to Kenneth L. Colson, Jr. and Carolyn Jane Hedrick Colson. He was a graduate of South Davidson High School. He was a Master Police Officer and Field Training Officer with the Thomasville Police Department. He was a part time instructor with Davidson County Community College and also with Guilford Technical Community College. He was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Colson on March 7, 2002 and a brother Philip David Colson on September 1, 2008. Survivors include, father; Kenneth L. Colson, Jr. of Lexington, and brother; Michael Colson of Lexington. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Fairview United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends on Sunday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
