Mr. Kenneth Ray Smith, age 59 of N. Jones St., Denton, NC died Friday, October 12 at his residence A Funeral service will be held Sunday, October 14, 2007 – 4:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. James Smith. Burial will follow at Siloam United Methodist Church Cemetery Mr. Smith was born September 27, 1948 in Mullis, West Virginia to James Glenn and Molly DePriest Smith. He had worked in construction industry. He is survived by sons, Kenneth Ray (Raymond) Smith, Jr. of Denton and Jacob Aaron Smith of Wayne, West Virginia, daughters, Peggy Rowe and Rebecca Lynn Smith, both of Wayne, West Virginia, brothers,Sterling Smith of Cleveland, Ohio, James G. Smith, Jr. of Loraine, Ohio and Grover Smith of Lowdie, Ohio, sister Barbara Wessell of Elyria, Ohio 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson Co., P.
