Kenneth Nealey

Mr. Kenneth Earl Nealey, 80, a resident of Mountain Vista Health Park, Denton passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. James Cooper. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Nealey was born January 17, 1937 in Columbus County, NC to William Ernest Nealey, Sr. and Winnie Tyson Nealey. He had worked at Drexel Heritage and Council Craftsman Furniture. In addition to his parents Mr. Nealey was preceded in death by brothers, Victor James Nealey and William Earnest Nealey Jr.; and sisters, Hilda Faye Offenbacker, Marjorie Wallace, and Linda Gail Nealey. Surviving are wife, Margaret Catherine Snider Nealey of Denton; son, Kenneth Curtis Nealey and wife Mitzi of High Point; daughters, Pamela Luciana Nealey of Rock Hill, SC, Janet Catherine Nealey of Stone Mountain, GA, and Nancy Nealey Boebel and husband Billy of Winder, GA; 5 grandchildren, Sarah Nealey, McKenzie & Steven Kamego, and Kayla & Victoria Boebel; 1 great grandson Benton Nealey; brother, Bobby Gene Nealey of Holden Beach; and sister, Joyce Ann Nealey of High Point.
