Kenneth A. Morgan, 67, of Aberdeen passed away Tuesday, September 17 at his home after a courageous fifteen year battle with cancer. He was born November 20, 1956 in Moore County to Elizabeth and Robert Morgan of Norman. He was a graduate of East Montgomery High School. He worked as an electrician for Industrial Sheet Metal in Rockingham. He was a member of Aberdeen First Baptist Church.
Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He always had a huge smile on his face and never complained even when times were overwhelming. He was a true example of courage and determination for us all. His smile and love will be missed terribly. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Daryl.
Ken is survived by his wife Pam, his daughter Amy Gray (Marcus) of Huntersville and Kenneth “Alan” Morgan Jr of Harmony, his grandchildren Chase and Bella Gray, a brother George (Cheryl) of Stanley.
The family would like to thank Dr. Wyman McGuirt, Dr. Adam Zanation, Todd Nicholson, PA, Dr. Robert Chamberlain, Dr. Peter Ellman, Dr. Jared Weiss, and First Health Hospice and Palliative Care members Dr. Julie Jones, Sondra Williamson and Sue, RN for their care and support during Ken’s cancer journey.
Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Biscoe Cemetery, with Rev. Chuck Thompson officiating.
