Ms. Kelli Merrill Hughes age 40, of Trenton Ln., Thomasville died Thursday, January 7, 2016. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, Jan. 14 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. David Keaton and Rev. Dru Merrill. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park. Ms. Hughes was born September 7, 1975 in Guilford County to Larry Merrill and Vicki Boggs Merrill. She was a Registered Nurse with Moses Cone Hospital. Kelli was preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Lauryn Kaylee Hughes. Surviving are sons, Keith Tyler Mishoe and Bryce Austin Dean both of Thomasville; mother, Vicki Boggs Merrill and companion Willam “Bill” Fergus; brothers, Tony Wayne Merrill (Connie) of Denton and Christopher Keith Merrill (Valerie) of Thomasville; sister, Jodi Metcalf Goins of Troy; 1 grandchild, Kayden Tyler Mishoe of Thomasville.
