Kathy Campbell Chappell

Kathy Campbell Chappell, 75, of Candor, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Peak Resources in Carthage. Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Candor United Methodist Church, with Rev. Thomas Simpson.

Born in Montgomery County on December 22, 1949, she was the daughter of Lonnie Alexander and Emmer Lee Wilkes Campbell. She was a member of Candor UMC and was a secretary for Blake Real Estate for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Michael Chappell in 1983 and a brother, Alexander Ray Campbell in 1968.

She is survived by her daughter, Megan Elizabeth Chappell of Durham; 2 sisters, Linda Campbell Duncan (John) of Orange Park, FL, and Cynthia Campbell Boyd (Danny) of Candor; brother, Lonnie Wayne Campbell of Candor; nieces and nephews, Michelle Fletcher, Ericka Silva, Angela Taylor, Bo Ashley Duncan, Casey Elizabeth Duncan, Jacob Anthony Boyd, and Hannah Abril Boyd.

The family will receive friends at the home of Cynthia and Danny Boyd.
