Kathleen Loflin

Mrs. Kathleen Hedrick Loflin, age 88 formerly of Old Camp Road, Denton, NC died Tuesday, December 1 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 6 at First United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Tammy Talbert. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The family will see friends following the interment at Central United Methodist Church Hut. Mrs. Loflin was born January 24, 1927 in Davidson County to Bill Hedrick and Connie Owen Hedrick. She was a retired employee of Bisher Mills where she worked for almost 50 years. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church where she had served as Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher member of the Choir and had been named Lay Person of the Year. She was married to W J “Dub” Loflin who died May 22, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents and by brothers, L C Hedrick and Jack Hedrick. She is survived by her son, Jones Loflin and wife Lisa of Denton; a sister Elizabeth Peacock of Denton and grandchildren, Alex and Sydney.
