Katherine Mcbath Allen

CANDOR- Katherine McBath Allen, 97, of Allen’s Alley, Biscoe, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor. A Graveside Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at Bensalem Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Allen was born on January 1, 1914, in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of Harvey Alexander and Kate Lutrell McBath. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Martine J. Allen. She is survived by her son, James M. Allen of Biscoe; 7 Grandchildren; 9 Great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
