Mrs. Karen Marie Hutchinson AGE: 50 of East First Street, Denton, NC, died Thursday, Jan 11 as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident that occurred in Davidson County. A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 14 at 2:00 PM at Lick Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Hulon Pait and burial will follow in the Church Cemetery Mrs. Hutchinson was born June 9, 1956 in Davidson County to Clifford Hutchinson and Ida Belle Pruitt Hutchinson. She had worked in Quality Control in the furniture industry and was a published writer. She was a member of Lick Creek Baptist Church She is survived by her son, Adam Ratcliffe of Lexington,a daughter Toni M. Barbee of New London and sisters Mary Williams of Lexington; Kathy Cottrell and Debbie Bolling both of Denton. One grandchild Johnathan Barbee The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Taylor and Kathy Cottrell, 1367 Cole Road, Denton, NC
