Judy Harrison Smith

Mrs. Judy Harrison Smith, age 57 of Snider Street, Denton, NC died Thursday, July 3 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 5 at 2:00 PM at Denton Wesleyan Church conducted by Rev. Charlie Collins and Rev. Charles Moses. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was born July 25, 1950 in Davidson County to Shelly Harrison and Bertha Grubb Harrison. She was homemaker and a member of Denton Wesleyan Church where she had been active in the musical program of the Church and had served as a Youth Leader. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband Bo Smith of Denton, daughters, Missy Hughes and husband Randy of Lexington; Crystal Matney and husband Ira and Whitney Smith all of Denton; a brother Robbie Harrison of Lexington; 3 sisters Edith Thomason, Linda Smith and Phyllis Cockerham, all of Lexington; four Grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor and Tanner Hughes and Zane Matney. The family will see friends from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Saturday at Denton Wesleyan Church and other times at the residence on Snider Street.
