Judd Russell

Mr. Judd Russell, age 92, of the New Hope Community, Denton, NC died early Wednesday morning, Sept. 11 at Randolph Hospice House. A private service for Mr. Russell will be held at a later date Mr. Russell was born August 7, 1921 in Randolph County to J. R. “Bud” and Effie Jane Hinkle Russell. He had worked in the sawmilling industry and was a farmer. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Rush Russell on July 21, 2010. He is survived by one son, Joseph Warren Russell of Thomasville, four daughters, Sara Whitt of Rocky Mount, Kathy Overcash of Thomasville, Nancy Hughes of Denton and Teresa Mabe of Virginia, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
